Barbara Nussbaum is an author, lecturer and executive coach and consultant. Originally based in South Africa, she is the Liaison for Africa for the World Business Academy - www.worldbusiness.org - a cutting edge think tank, based in California. The Academy is a network of individuals exploring the leading edge of business and a pre-eminent publisher of new paradigm business literature. Barbara is an adjunct faculty member of the Spiritual Leadership Institute, which is housed in Memorial Hermann Hospital, the largest hospital chain in Houston, Texas. She has pioneered the use of the arts, and in particular, the use of music as a leadership development tool, a methodology for negotiating transitions and for embracing individual and organizational resilience.
Barbara has authored a series of articles on new paradigm thinking in business. She has co-authored with Dr. Ronnie Lessem Sawubona Africa: Embracing Four Worlds in South African Management. She also authored the book Making a Difference: Stutterheim: Reconstruction, Reconciliation and Development.
